Southeast ESTONIA and Leigo lake MUSIC FESTIVAL/ 3 days

Leigo Lake Music was born out of love against nature, art and classical music. The man behind Leigo Lake Music Festival is Estonian Tõnu Tamm, who came to this region 35 years ago, created 19 artificial lakes and started carrying out his dream of a music stage on the lakes.

And now for 19 years, on this stage, orchestra, opera singers and other classical music artists have performed, joining in the sounds of wind, rain, bird songs and cricket chirps. The scenography is a joined effort of man and nature, where that done by man is in harmony with nature.

In 2017 the festival will celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Enjoy the unique possibility to cross the border on foot or stand one leg in one country, one in another.

A short stop by Sangaste castle, whose owner wanted to build a castle with a park that would resemble Winsdor castle and park in England. We will let you be the judges of the similarities.

Visit Otepaa - the Estonian winter sports city. Enjoy the panoramic view over the surrounding area and find yourself at the Otepaa labyrinth, which was modeled on the famous Christian labyrinth etched onto the paved stone floor of Chartres Cathedral in France.
